Project Description

The new Wilton Park precinct will support approximately 3,500-4,000 office workers. Designed to reflect its prestigious environment and the rich heritage of the surrounding area, the campus will create a new public square, a re-formatted park together with new restaurants, cafes and leisure facilities for the local community, new connections and superb new modern well-lit open office spaces with generous roof terraces. It will form a new landmark recreational, retail and office quarter in the heart of Dublin’s business and cultural life.

The development is delivered over across 3 buildings, each consisting of 7 storeys above basement. There is a 364 seat culinary offering across the three buildings with the option of a full kitchen located at basement -1 of Block 4 which opens onto an external garden. Each floor features open plan workspace, meeting rooms, phone booths, breakout spaces, micro-kitchens and IDF & MDF rooms. The upper levels feature terrace gardens with the entire top floor being an accessible terrace garden. Basement Level -2 features car parking, bike storage, shower and changing facilities with extensive storage facilities.

Ethos Input

Ethos were enlisted by LinkedIn to deliver the full Mechanical, Electrical and Sustainability input for the full development. Ethos also monitored the base build to ensure that the Shell and Core was delivered to the required standards Ethos were also directed by LinkedIn to undertake a full design review of the basebuild systems to improve the overall Sustainability and Healthy Buildings initiatives. This resulted in various interventions being successfully implemented to achieve the desired outcomes.

Unique / Key Features

Next generation Smart Buildings/Digital Connectivity and Sustainability initiatives have been deployed for the next phase of the LinkedIn campus. This includes MEP Smart Connected Commissioning Strategy, ILFI Net Zero Carbon, LEED Platinum, WELL Platinum certification. This project will ensure that Healthy and Environmentally comfortable building is delivered that is Sustainable/Operationally efficient with full flexibility / adaptability of the MEP Systems including intuitive controls for the End User and FM personnel.
