Project Description:
The upgrade works at Amgen’s facility in Dun Laoghaire involved the comprehensive refurbishment and enhancement of an existing property to support evolving operational needs. The redevelopment included the integration of two new pharmaceutical-grade laboratories, the creation of next-generation office environments across two floors, and the development of restaurant and canteen areas designed for high-occupancy use.

Critical infrastructure upgrades were also delivered as part of the project scope, including a significant enhancement of the power systems to support increased building demand and technical resilience.

Ethos Engineering was engaged to deliver full mechanical and electrical services design for the PM1 Upgrade Works. Our role encompassed the integration of complex building systems within a live pharmaceutical environment, ensuring all services met rigorous industry standards and client-specific operational protocols.
