Kavanagh Court Phase II has been certified BREEAM Very Good
Ethos Engineering is pleased to announce that Kavanagh Court Phase II has been certified BREEAM Very Good.
The seven-story building, provides 114-bed spaces, with 9 cluster flats and 67 Studio apartments across 3,719m2 of internal space. BREEAM provides a clear statement of quality and world recognised sustainability benchmark. Among the sustainability measures included on the project were;
-Achieving a 42% reduction over minimum energy efficiency (kWh/m2)
-Thermal modeling, controls, and lighting studies for occupant comfort
-Certified sustainable materials with EPDs
-Low emitting materials to ensure air quality
Ethos Engineering’s expert knowledge and expertise guide the project team through the BREEAM assessment process. Final certification was achieved within 6 months of practical completion.
