Project Description:
Warner Chilcott relocated to the Republic of Ireland as part of its ‘Going Green’ initiative and carried out the refurbishment of Building 2 on the Xerox site in Dundalk to accommodate a new pharmaceutical facility. The completed plant comprised a synthetic organic chemistry laboratory, an NMR laboratory, an X-ray diffractometer laboratory, a testing room, an isolated chemistry laboratory, an analytical laboratory, dedicated fume hood rooms, and office space.
Ethos Input:
Ethos Engineering was responsible for the full mechanical and electrical design, equipment selection, tender process, contract negotiation, and site supervision for all aspects of the project. This included specification of laboratory equipment and furniture, electrical and data systems for laboratory integration, HVAC systems, specialist services for lab operations, and a chemical waste disposal system.
