Project Background
Castleforbes Premier Inn development consists of 262 bedrooms and ranges in height from 7 to 10 storeys with total gross floor area of c. 9,644 sq.m. located on the Castleforbes site in Dublin City Centre.

The building is located on Sheriff Street Upper around a landscaped central courtyard which is partially publicly accessible. A new shared service access route is provided from Sheriff Street Upper to the west of the site to a centralised service zone and associated storage area. The development also includes for enhanced landscaping and public realm along Sheriff Street Upper.

The proposed development also includes for the provision of planting at roof level, green roofs and new ESB substations.

Ethos Input:
Ethos Engineering have been engaged to provide mechanical, electrical, public health and lift engineering services for the development.

Ethos are also providing Environmentally Sustainable Design services to ensure efficient design of system solutions for NZEB compliance and acting as BREEAM Assessors for this project.
