Project Background
An existing, unused industrial site in Newcastle West, Co. Limerick was transformed to accommodate the new European Headquarters for Ortec Inc. The headquarters operates as a European Manufacturing and Operations Centre for the US company.

Ortec Inc. is a leading manufacturer of custom materials used in the medical device, life science, pharmaceutical and other health-related FDA/EMA regulated industries.

The project included the complete renovation of an existing industrial building, the construction of a new extension, and the provision of a standalone utility building. The 26,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility provides Irish and European manufacturers with a local option when sourcing process chemicals where quality and consistency are critical parameters.

Ethos Input
Ethos Engineering were responsible for the design of the mechanical and electrical services for the new facility which includes a full-service analytical laboratory, an ISO 8 / Class 100,000 cleanroom, production areas, warehouses, and administrative spaces.
