This project involves the refurbishment of an existing office building, which comprises of four office floors over a common basement, roof/ plant room and basement. The project scope included the complete fitout of all office floors, upgrades to existing plant, keeping critical areas kept live during construction and phasing of construction stage.
Ethos were responsible for the MEP services design, including a due diligence of the existing base build landlord plant, single point of failure analysis, smart building integration and third party peer review. Ethos are currently carrying out construction monitoring of the MEP services for the client.
Unique / Key Features
A key requirement for our client on this project was to upgrade the existing building to a smart building. This involved technical reviews of the existing services and their capability to be integrated for smart building applications such as a user experience mobile app. MEP services are considered a critical element in our client’s day to day operation and therefore, we completed a single point of failure analysis to identify areas where redundancy needed to be addressed during this project.
