DLR Zürich Detailed Design

Project Description

The project involved designing phases 3 and 4 of the ZUR3 Data Centre within Digital Realty’s new Zürich Campus. The 17,424m2 data centre consists of 12 units of data halls with a total IT load of 13.6MW.

Ethos Input

Ethos Engineering provided specialist electrical design services and construction administration support for Phases 3 and 4. As part of the detailed design scope, Ethos was responsible for developing redline drawings for key electrical packages at Stage 4. These redlines were coordinated with the overall design and transferred to the main contractor for execution.

Working closely with Maestrale on mechanical design integration, Ethos ensured that all systems were aligned to local Swiss regulatory standards and project-specific performance requirements..
