Project Description
DUB14 corporate fit-out project currently accommodates approximately 1,500 of Amazons’ staff in this unit covering LG, G, 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th floors with the shell and core being certified to LEED Gold Standard. The fit-out includes a dedicated reception, meeting rooms, alternative workspaces and a holistic catering offering. Showers and bike storage are accommodated in the basement. Main MDF is on 2nd floor with 2 IDF’s per floor each with fire suppression systems, N+1 cooling and UPS support.

Ethos was commissioned to provide the following services for this prestigious project;
• Technical due diligence of landlord design • Detailed Basis of Design report for client sign off
• Full thermal IES analysis for the fit-out
• Full M&E design of fit-out incorporating client AV, IT and Security
• REVIT/BIM software being used for clash detection and general co-ordination
• Close co-ordination with client specialist consultants/vendors for AV, IT, and Security
• Cost Management
• Site monitoring, commissioning, witnessing, BC(A)R
Unique / Key Features
The project team negotiated with the landlord to omit elements of the proposed base build Cat A items; suspended ceilings, light fittings, duct work, raised floors, reception finishes and speed gates. This resulted in a large saving for the project and avoids wasteful use of materials.
