Project Description

300 unit residential development over 5 blocks including amenity space and public realm. Central heating plant using high-efficiency gas boilers with CHP and Mechanical Heat Recovery Ventilation systems formed the mechanical energy strategy.

Ethos Sustainability collaborated with Cairn Homes and our M&E team to streamline the compliance process using our bespoke Part L contractor requirement document developed for this project.

Formal issue of Part L Contractor Requirement Document outlining the responsibility of contractor during construction in order to ensure seamless handover at practical completion

Managed the transitional arrangement in relation to the roll-out of new building regulations for both residential apartments and commercial communal & tenant amenity spaces

Liaising with the Department of Housing and Local Government in relation to transitional dates and impact of Covid 19 restrictions on the construction programme

Central plant scheme with boilers & micro CHP

Hygienic production Instantaneous Hot Water production using the heat interface unit
