Project Engineer

About the job:
As a Project Engineer you will play a crucial role in our growing Design Management team. With a focus on Hyperscale Data Centre Design across EMEA, you will lead projects, ensuring scope, cost, and schedule management. Your responsibilities encompass the entire project life cycle, from URS and Concept to Construction and Qualification.

About you:

  • 3rd Level College Degree with 5-7+ years’ experience in relevant

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills

  • Experience collaborating within engineering teams for successful project delivery

  • Drive for continuous innovation and adoption of emerging technologies

  • Familiarity with relevant knowledge sources

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

  • Developing skills in relevant software

  • Project Management expertise

  • Knowledge of Project Planning software

  • Construction knowledge and experience

Your Day-to-Day Activities:

  • Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with clients

  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders

  • Establish project objectives, ensuring goals and timelines are met

  • Oversee technical and commercial delivery of projects

  • Define project scope requirements and execution strategy

  • Lead and motivate project teams, managing resource requirements

  • Ensure compliance with local statutory and regulatory obligations

  • Develop and manage project budgets

  • Create and maintain project plans, focusing on goal achievement

  • Provide performance updates and reports for identification of variances and corrective action

  • Manage document management via CDE Platform

  • Liaise with Senior Management, offering regular project performance status updates

  • Demonstrate leadership, team skills, self-confidence, and effective decision-making throughout the project.
