Job Description: Document Controller
About the Role – Document Controller
As a Document Controller, you will be part of a highly creative and effective leadership team comprised of Mechanical Engineers, Electrical Engineers, and BIM Engineers, tasked with developing documentation tracking tools, reviewing technical documents, drawings or sheets being issued by the design teams and storing them properly within the assigned document repository. You will be responsible for all of the project documentation being issued by the design team and providing document guidance to all team members.

Role Requirements
Manage Document control for the Data Centre team.
The role involves reviewing/proofing project documentation before final issuing it to the client.
Check for accuracy and editing of project reports.
Efficient archiving, storage, and retrieval of project documentation
Maintain an efficient up-to-date register of documentation.
Provide input into document management procedures and keep up to date on industry best practices.
Process documentation in line with project requirements including:
Drawings
Specifications
Calculations
Reports
Technical Submittals
Method Statements
Quality Inspections
Ancillary Certs
BCAR Documents
Collating documents and reports
Assist with delivering the quality assurance program.
Assist with company regulatory audits and Quality control checks, as required.
Complete administrative tasks to support the wider team as required.
Handle internal and external communication with a high degree of professionalism and confidentiality.
Key Knowledge
Experience with web-based information management systems.
Good IT skills covering Excel, Word, SharePoint, Outlook
Experience with web-based applications/ software.
Sound knowledge and recent experience using Bluebeam etc.
