About the Role – Accounts Assistant
Ethos prides itself on delivering efficient, effective solutions across a wide range of industries. We’re currently searching for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join our ranks and continue our tradition of success. This person will supply administrative support to accountants by performing clerical tasks such as filing, handling mail, making phone calls, replying to emails and basic bookkeeping.
Location: Dublin (remote working options available) – Head Office in Sandyford, Dublin
Group:Finance – Reporting to the Financial Controller
Salary: € Negotiable

Candidate Attributes
The candidate must be based in Ireland in order to be considered for this position.
Ability to work as part of a team and take direction accurately.
Analytical thinker and problem solver.
Competent IT skills, particularly proficiency with spreadsheet software.
High level of accuracy.
Extremely organised in a manner that is easily read by others.
Trustworthy and discreet when dealing with confidential information.
Administrative skills.
Professional and dynamic with strong people skills;
Strong organisation skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively, multi-task and problem-solve;
Knowledge of office management responsibilities, systems, and procedures;
3 - 5+ years in a busy office environment;
Key Activities
Monitoring daily communications and answering any queries.
Ensuring payments, amounts and records are correct.
Working with spreadsheets, sales and purchase ledgers and journals.
Recording and filing cash transactions.
Controlling credit and chasing debt.
Invoice processing and filing.
Processing expense requests for the accountant to approve.
Bank reconciliation.
Liaising with third-party providers, clients and suppliers.
Updating and maintaining procedural documentation.
