IBM Data Centre
IBM Campus, Mulhuddart, Dublin 15, Ireland
The IBM data centre is an 855m2 unit built within an existing production area on the IBM campus in Mulhudart Dublin. The unit is fed from the dual redundant 110kV campus power feeds from the grid.
There is full A&B dual power distribution throughout data suite. The UPS and back up generators throughout are n+1 resilient, the chillers are n+2. The downflow units utilise EC Plug Fan Technology delivering significant energy savings.
There is dual redundant critical alarm monitoring of the major components within the unit. The unit is 2 hour fire rated and is equipped with wet cycle sprinkler protection.
The unit benefits from the strong connectivity of the IBM campus. The unit went live in autumn 2008
