Limerick Co-Located Hospital

Mid Western Regional Hospital, Limerick.

The Limerick Co-Located Hospital is a 25,000m2, 175 bed private hospital facility to be built adjacent to The Mid Western Regional Hospital, Limerick.

This hi-tech, state of the art facility will comprise of 2 Cardiac Cath Labs supported by 8 recovery bays, ECG, Echo, Holter and Stress Exercise Facilities, 6 operating theatres, 2 of which are ultra clean theatres, a Diagnostic Imaging Dept. with €24.7m worth of new generation equipment - MRI, PET, CT, X-Ray and mammography.

The hospital also features twelve medical Oncology/Haematology day beds, forty two medical and surgical day beds supported by 2 endoscopy suites and 2 procedure rooms, Physiotherapy Area, Pharmacy Services, Laboratory Services, General Clinical Space, Central Sterile Supply Dept and a 24/7 Assessment Unit.

The new hospital will accommodate up to 9,400 inpatients and 40,000 outpatients per annum and when fully operational will directly employ over 456 full-time staff.

Full mechanical and electrical designs have been completed to our clients requirements up to tender stage.
