Imaginosity

Imaginosity is an interactive children's museum located at the heart of the Beacon South Quarter Development at Sandyford, Dublin 18. There is a sustainable / green approach to the Imaginosity building design, from the building fabric/facade and materials, through to the M&E services for the building.
The design incorporates as many sustainable & renewable technologies as possible to increase the educational aspect of the building. Key sustainable features incorporated include the following;
- High Insulation (Low U-Values)
- Mixed Mode Ventilation (Low Energy)
- Micro-CHP (Combined Heat & Power)
- Heat Pumps
- Wind Turbines
- Solar Water Heating
- Roof Mounted 'Windcatcher' Units with Photovoltaic Panels
